NEIVE

Hills, vineyards, woods and valleys that alternate with castles and historic villages make the Langhe and specifically Neive one of the most evocative Piedmontese territories.
But Neive is also and above all renowned as a land of wines since it is located in an area that offers the best you could wish for to meet the needs of passionate winemakers, but also of tourists.
In the surrounding hills the vineyards produce grapes with which great DOC and DOCG wines are made.
These same hills allow, through paths re-evaluated over the years, demanding or less demanding walks, however immersed in the greenery of these wonderful hills.
Whether you want to take a quiet walk on easy paths or a more demanding excursion, whether you are a beginner or an expert, in Neive you will always find something suitable for you!

BARBARESCO

Barbaresco is a well-kept village, full of splendid vases of flowers which also make it very colourful.
A particularity? This town is characterized by only one street and is dominated by its 36-metre high medieval tower, one of the highest in all of Piedmont. Today the tower is also equipped with a panoramic lift that allows you to admire a beautiful panorama of the Langhe and Roero and from where you can enjoy delicious aperitifs.
In Barbaresco you cannot miss a visit to the Regional Barbaresco Enoteca which is located in the suggestive location of the deconsecrated church of San Donato

ALBA

A few kilometers from Turin, in the province of Cuneo, is this beautiful city made up of alleys, churches, small squares and many restaurants where you can taste the typical products of the area such as white truffles, fondue and braised meat in Barolo, UNESCO heritage.
Obviously accompanied by a good wine produced by the many vineyards that surround it: the famous Piedmontese Langhe.
World capital of the truffle, as well as other food and wine specialties and products, it is also the second largest city in the province of Cuneo by number of inhabitants, with a very well-preserved historic center full of monuments.
Ideal for a walk and a food and wine weekend, which can also be toured by bicycle

LA MORRA

From a height of 512 metres, on top of a mighty hilly ripple, La Morra dominates hills entirely planted with vines ranging from the Asti Roero to the Alta Langa, almost a mountain, which acts as a watershed with Liguria.
La Morra is famous to tourists above all for the production of wine: it is one of the 11 "Municipalities of Barolo", the only ones where the Nebbiolo vine can be cultivated which will become, after four years of rest in oak barrels, the most famous wine. refined and good of Italy: and yes... we are talking about BAROLO.

BAROLO

Barolo is a small village surrounded by an infinite number of vineyards and dominated by the Marchesi Falletti Castle which today houses the WiMu, the wine museum.
This town gives its name to the whole surrounding area, the "Langa del Barolo" and to its precious wine: "the king of wines and the wine of kings".
Of course, a visit to one of the many cellars or wine bars in the area is a must.
Not to be missed, just outside the town of Barolo, is the mysterious Castle "della Volta", dominating the entire hill and surrounded by stories full of charm and "shivering".
Spend a day in Barolo, a few minutes from Alba, but a location full of extremely interesting ideas.

GRINZANE

Camillo Benso was the mayor of this village for 17 years and was also the first to experiment and start the production of the precious Barolo.
The day can begin with a visit to the beautiful Castle of Grinzane which, majestic and imposing, stands on a hill from which it is possible to admire a unique panorama of the vineyards cultivated with Nebbiolo.
Inside there are many halls furnished as in the past, the Piedmontese Regional Enoteca, the headquarters of the Order of the Knights of the Truffle and the Wines of Alba and in its halls the World Auction of the Alba White Truffle takes place.
Grinzane is located a few kilometers from Alba, which can also be easily reached using an e-bike, a system that is now widely used in these magnificent hilly areas.

MONFORTE

A charming medieval village with timeless appeal, listed among the "Most Beautiful Villages in Italy" (Borghi più belli d'Italia), Monforte is perched on a hilltop and characterized by steep, narrow alleys that lead to the upper part of town—the most authentic heart of the "Langa del Barolo." The pulse of the historic center is the Horszowski Auditorium, a magical open-air amphitheater carved into the natural slope of the ground, renowned for its jazz concerts and perfect acoustics. As you wander through the village, a gourmet stop at one of its celebrated restaurants or a tasting in the historic cellars—producers of a Barolo known for its exceptional structure and longevity—is a must. For a touch of color and originality, don't miss a visit to the Purple Big Bench. It is set in a breathtaking panoramic spot, perfect for admiring the endless sea of vineyards surrounding the town. Spend a day in Monforte d’Alba: just a few miles from Barolo, you will find a vibrant, elegant location filled with unforgettable views.
